Brit appoints motor underwriter
Brit Insurance has announced the appointment of Ian Fraser as motor fleet underwriter, effective immediately.
Based in Brit’s Glasgow office, Fraser will report to Brit regional manager Andy Fitzgerald.
Previously, Fraser served for 30 years at RSA where he held a variety of senior posts, most recently as senior technical motor underwriter.
Fraser said he is “excited by the challenge” of working for a company “with a reputation for quality underwriting and claims service.”
Fitzgerald, Brit’s regional manager for Northern Ireland and Scotland, said the firm is “delighted” to welcome Fraser.
“Ian has a vast experience of the commercial insurance market in Scotland and Northern Ireland and strong broker relationships,” Fitzgerald said.
“A senior appointment of this calibre further underlines our established reputation for providing brokers with an excellent service and superior cover through empowered local underwriting.”
